Es war einmal — Som de
Es war einmal eine Fliege mit einem Auge
und die hate ein Mini Bett
und sie hate richtige Füße
und außerdem hate sie BlatFlügel
und sie hate einen ganz hochen Dut
an ihrem Bett waren hoche Schuhe
und sie wollte sich da rein legen
aber sie war Leder zu groß
weil das Bett war Miniklein
und sie war direkt das Gegenteil
und die Fliege hieß Clara Grunwald
sie hate eine Apfelform als Gesicht.

MOTHERFLY
It might be self-indulgent to mate this reflection on another human being’s beautiful work be all from my own perspective, but then I guess my own perspective is all I know…v
The Motherfly spoke to me immediately after flicking through only a couple of pages of this book. So representative it was it of the all-seeing-eye of my own beloved mum. I feel that she knows me so well that she can detect all I am doing, even thinking, even when we are far away from each other. Psychically linked when not physically linked.
The bed, in his cuban heels, reminds me of a shameful secret that I dare to share…at the age of 38, I still let my mother bring my bedclothes home to wash them at her’s.
What can that all-seeing-eye detect from these…I dread to think!
She is infinitely more beautiful, loved, cared for & individual from a fly…God, I can’t believe I’m actually trying to explain this - of course she is - she is my mum! And she’s completely integral to my life - I can’t imagine my existence without her. Post loves have questioned the intensity of our relationship - but this one fully accepts it. He knows his position in my affections…maybe he’s a keeper!
